Arrive at Bamako international airport where you will meet the driver and the guide for a pick-up and transfer to accommodation. If the arrival time allows, a short (late afternoon) tour of Bamako is made for a first impression of the town’s monuments like the Cathedral and the Independence Monument.

After breakfast, drive to Ségou. Have a walking tour including the Somono neighborhood, the town center, along the river quay, and the administrative neighborhood with colonial-style architecture. Afterwards go for a late afternoon river trip (man-powered pirogue).

Early morning departure for Djenné. Upon arrival the regional dish Tion Tion is served for lunch. Go for a walking tour of the old town and participate in one of the afternoon prayers at the Great Mosque. During the late afternoon departure for San.

Take part in the morning prayer at the adobe mosque in San. Early morning departure for Bamako, where upon arrival the PCR test is taken at the INSP. Then go for a late afternoon visit to the Grand Marché and to Point G.

Today a walk is made from the Samoury statue to a waterfall and a visit is made to the area of the sand fishermen.
