In addition to its natural beauty, Tadjourah is one of the oldest cities in the horn of Africa and is home to the main Afar tribal chiefdom. Join us on a boat tour of the Gulf of Tadjourah, where you will visit the historic white city of Tadjourah. Then, head down to Sable Blancs Beach, widely regarded as the most beautiful beach in the nation, and admire its abundant corals and tropical fish while snorkeling. Dip in its calm waters, relax on the white sand beach and soak up the sun. This is a truly captivating journey that you won’t want to miss! Come experience a memorable day trip from the port of Djibouti to the picturesque white city of Tadjourah and the gorgeous Sable Blancs Beach.
Your day will start with a pick-up from the port and transfer to the fish boat harbor. Later, you will be fitted with snorkeling equipment for a boat ride. During the 30-minute scenic boat ride to Tadjourah, you can relax and enjoy the views. Upon arrival in Tadjourah, you will spend the next hour exploring the city and learning about its rich history and culture. You will then arrive at Sable Blancs Beach, where you can spend a few hours snorkeling, swimming, and basking in the sun. Your adventure will end with a boat ride back to Djibouti where you will be dropped off at the harbor at 4pm.
