We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house at 9 am, depart straight on the way south to world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. We will then have a Stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib. Our lunch at the Solitaire oasis. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite at around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot, we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake early in the morning.

Early in the morning, at sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the Orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of Vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy ‘or ‚Big Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return back to Sesriem for lunch. We will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. These will be our last activities for the day.

Today we will move from desert to sea. On our way, we will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub. The Kuiseb passes, driving down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon before climbing up the other side and watching the spectacular desert landscape unfold. Having arrived at the coast, we will stop in Walvis Bay to enjoy the view of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons. We will take a short break for lunch. We overnighted in Swakopmund. Dinner tonight is at the client’s own expense in a local restaurant.

The lagoons at Walvis Bay and at the Sandwich Harbour are the key points of this tour. This area is a bird sanctuary as it inhabits some 200 000 birds. With tourist’s favorites such as Flamingo, Pelican, avocet, turnstone and a huge variety of waders can easily be seen. November is the perfect bird watching season, with numbers peaking at around 170 000. Several endemic species, such as the Dune Lark and the Damara Tern, are also in the vicinity. Leaving Walvis Bay behind, we head for the lower reaches of the Kuiseb Delta. This unique ecosystem is dotted with archeological sites, 450 years old animal tracks, windblown graves, and magnificent dunes. There is evidence of ancient and recent gathering, harvesting, and trading by the Topnaar, an indigenous Namibian community descended from the,!Khoi group which relies on the naturally occurring!Nara fruit for survival. Your guide will find a suitable place depend on the weather to serves a light lunch, Walvis Bay oysters, champagne, and soft drinks. On our way back, your guide will keep sharing his knowledge on Flora and Fauna, the area with the most highlight is the roaring dune which gives you an exceptional view of the landscape and sandboard to raise our adrenaline. Then continue to the large salt evaporation ponds and the Walvis Bay lagoon. If you have chosen the Pelican Point, drive along the narrow stretch of sand that separates the bay from the Atlantic Ocean. Pass by a weathered shipwreck that tells the story of a lost fight against the sea, and catch sight of flamingos, pelicans, terns, and a colony of Cape Fur seals. Our return to Walvis Bay should be around 16h30.

After breakfast we departure to windhoek passing through Karibib where the oldest gold mine is.. Stopping in Okahandja for lunch and for the biggest craft market in the country. We will approximately arrive at our destination before lunch. Upon arrival you will have a guide trip within Windhoek city and grab dinner at local restaurant and check in to the hotel for the overnight.

Today you will be picked up at 5 am to be transferred back to the airport to catch your onward flight, where your trip will come to an end .
