Discover the land of thousand hills in greater depth with a visit to the Nyungwe National Park. Nyungwe Forest is one of the oldest rainforest in Africa and the best preserved rainforest in the mountains of Central Africa which is rich in biodiversity. Nyungwe Forest has 13 different primate species, such as the colobus monkey, l’Hoest’s monkeys, chimpanzee, over 300 bird species and over 75 different types of mammal.

Arrival at Kigali International Airport and transfer to your Hotel. Afternoon city tour with a visit to Kigali Genocide Memorial, Campaign Against Genocide and local Markets. Dinner and overnight at your 5 Star Hotel in Kigali.
Meet your guide at 7:00 am and depart to Nyungwe National Park. En route, have stopovers at the King’s Palace Museum and National Ethnographic Museums. Have your lunch in Huye and drive to Nyungwe National Park. En route have a sighting of the tea plantations. Overnight at your luxury lodge.
Have an early morning breakfast at your Hotel. Afterward, you can do an early morning chimpanzee tracking if you are fine to hike in the forest. Otherwise, you can visit the family of colobus monkeys which are easier to find. After tracking primates, you will continue your adventure for the guided canopy walk. Evening Community walk tour in Gisakura. Lunch, Dinner, and overnight at your Luxury Lodge.
Depart at 8:00 am from Nyungwe and transfer to Karongi for boat trips and hikes to the islands in Lake Kivu. Have lunch at Moriah Resorts and drive back to Kigali. Drop off at Kigali International Airport or your preferred Hotel in Kigali.
