We will then have a Stop-over at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of Namib. Our lunch at the Solitaire oasis. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot; we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake early in the morning. Overnight at Sossu Dune Campsite or similar

Day 2Dune 45, Sossusvlei - Desert Experience

Early in the morning, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing the beauty and vastness of the Orange-colored landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of Vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the ‚Big Daddy ‘or ‚Big Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return to Sesriem for lunch. We will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. These will be our last activities for the day. Overnight at Sossu Dune Campsite or similar

Day 3Sossusvlei to Swakopmund

Today we will move from desert to sea. We will cross the Tropic of Capricorn and traverse the Gaub on our way. The Kuiseb passes, driving down to the dry river bed at the bottom of the Kuiseb Canyon before climbing up the other side and watching the spectacular desert landscape unfold before us. Having arrived at the coast, we will make a stop in Walvis Bay to enjoy the view of flamingos and other birds in the lagoons. We will take a short break for lunch. We overnight in Swakopmund. Dinner tonight is at the client’s own expense in a local restaurant. Overnight at Drift Guesthouse or similar.

Meal Plan: Breakfast.

Day 4Swakopmund- Cape Cross

In the morning, we will go on an excursion to the seal colony at Cape Cross, north of Swakopmund, where we will be able to experience thousands of fur seals at close range. The rest of the day will be free, with plenty of time to explore the town. Swakopmund is a charming seaside town with lots of shops, a good stretch of beach (although the Atlantic is quite cold here), and an open-air curio market. There is also an excellent museum, and the Namibian National Marine Aquarium is located in Swakopmund. Alternatively, various optional activities can be arranged. These include a boat tour (with oysters and champagne), scenic flights and micro-light flights over the desert, fishing trips (either from the beach or in a boat), quad-bike trips into the desert and over the sand dunes around Swakopmund, sandboarding, skydiving, and many other activities. Your guide will discuss all the possible optional activities with you and offer to make pre-bookings in advance.

We will have a picnic lunch in Outjo. We are expected to arrive in Okaukuejo in the afternoon. We will drive through some parts of the National park in search of various games. We will be at our respective accommodation just before sunset.
