Enjoy shopping and lunch at a local restaurant. At noon, continue to the site of Memphis, earlier the capital center of old Egypt and the center of rule and culture for over 3000 years. You will see the statues, sarcophagi, and sphinxes that gives clues to this city. The neighboring step pyramid and the cemetery proves the ruling classes of the old Egypt. The Step pyramid of Zoser is the oldest in Egypt.
