Nyungwe National Park lies in southwest Rwanda, partly abutting the Burundi border. It is vast area of mountain rainforest, home to many species of chimpanzees, plus owl-faced and colobus monkeys. The Canopy Walkway, part of the Igishigishigi Trail, is a high suspension bridge with views over the valley and surrounding forests. A trail runs to the Kamiranzovu Marsh, with its bird-life, orchids and waterfall. This is a well-designed Tour for every person and it is affordable.

This tour will give you an intimate experience of tracking chimpanzees in the Nyungwe forest national park. Nyungwe forest national park is located in southwestern Rwanda with great scenic views surrounded by tea plantations. For this particular safari, it is organized specifically for chimpanzee trekking. Chimpanzee trekking in Nyungwe forest national park starts very early in the morning and so this requires that you leave your lodge as early as 5.00 am to make it to the briefing area at the Uwinka overlook. Nyungwe forest has two main trailheads where. Chimpanzee trekking happens i.e. Uwinka trail and another at Cyamudongo section.
