Day 1 Arrival in Malabo

Start your journey in Malabo with a warm welcome at Malabo International Airport, followed by a smooth transfer to your hotel. Take the morning or afternoon to relax and soak in the laid-back atmosphere of Equatorial Guinea’s charming capital. In the evening, embark on a guided walking tour through Malabo’s historic center, where you can explore the iconic Malabo Cathedral and enjoy a delicious dinner at a local restaurant overlooking the scenic Gulf of Guinea.

Day 2Excursion to Pico Basilé National Park

Begin your day with an early departure to Pico Basilé, the highest peak on Bioko Island and a must-visit destination in Equatorial Guinea. Hike through lush tropical montane forests, discover unique endemic
bird species, and enjoy panoramic views from the summit. Along the way, learn about the rich cultural
legends and traditions associated with the mountain. In the evening, return to Malabo for a relaxing
dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3Adventure in Ureka

Set out in the morning for a scenic drive to Ureka, located on the southern coast of Bioko Island and renowned as one of its most biodiverse regions. Trek through lush, untouched jungle to discover breathtaking waterfalls and pristine beaches. If visiting between November and February, witness the
awe-inspiring sight of sea turtles nesting along the shore. In the evening, engage with local communities to learn about their inspiring conservation efforts before returning to Malabo for the night.

Day 4Visit to Moka and Lake Biao

In the morning, journey inland to the picturesque highland village of Moka, nestled in the heart of Bioko Island. Visit the Bioko Biodiversity Protection Program (BBPP) to learn about local conservation initiatives, then hike through misty cloud forests to the stunning volcanic Lake Biao. This area is a
haven for wildlife sightings and birdwatching, making it a favorite for nature enthusiasts. In the evening, return to Malabo to unwind or enjoy an optional cultural performance showcasing Equatorial Guinea’s rich heritage.

Day 5Malabo City Tour and Departure
