Your adventure begins with a flight from Johannesburg to Livingstone, Zambia. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted and transferred to the luxurious Royal Livingstone Hotel, where you’ll spend the next two nights on a bed-and-breakfast basis. Situated along the banks of the Zambezi River, the hotel offers stunning views and is located just upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls. As you settle in, you’ll have the chance to spot wildlife, including hippos and elephants, right from the hotel grounds, as it’s adjacent to the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park.

After a delicious breakfast, you’ll embark on a guided tour of the famous Victoria Falls, where you’ll witness this awe-inspiring natural wonder up close. Following the tour, you may visit the local market, where you can shop for unique curios and souvenirs. Afterward, return to the hotel for lunch, and in the afternoon, enjoy a sunset boat cruise aboard the African Queen, complete with drinks and snacks as you unwind while taking in the beauty of the Zambezi River.

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Livingstone Airport for your light aircraft flight (via Lusaka) to the Lower Zambezi Valley. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to the Royal Zambezi Lodge, where you’ll spend the next three nights on a fully inclusive basis. The lodge is situated along the serene banks of the Zambezi River, offering a peaceful escape in the heart of the African wilderness.

Your time at the Royal Zambezi Lodge will be filled with exciting safari activities. Explore the diverse landscapes of rugged hills, lush flood plains, and the majestic Zambezi River itself. Safari activities include game drives, canoe safaris, boating safaris, fishing trips, and visits to local villages. Alternatively, you may choose to simply relax and enjoy the tranquility of this beautiful African setting.

After your final morning game drive, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Lusaka Airport. From Lusaka, you’ll connect with a commercial flight back to Johannesburg, bringing your incredible 5-day Zambia Safari to a close.
