This 10–14 day Kenya journey blends city exploration, world-class safari, and coastal relaxation. Begin in Nairobi with cultural and wildlife encounters, continue to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve for an immersive Big Five safari experience, and end along the Indian Ocean coastline in Mombasa or Diani Beach. An optional extension to Zanzibar offers a perfect tropical finale.
You begin your journey in Nairobi, Kenya’s vibrant capital and gateway to East Africa. Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you are transferred to your hotel where you can relax and settle into the city’s dynamic atmosphere.
On day two, enjoy a guided exploration of Nairobi’s cultural and historical highlights. Visit the Nairobi National Museum to gain insight into Kenya’s rich heritage, followed by a visit to the Karen Blixen Museum located in the serene Karen suburb. The day offers a balance of culture, history, and light city exploration.
Day three introduces you to Nairobi’s renowned wildlife conservation efforts. Visit the Giraffe Centre, where you can interact with endangered Rothschild giraffes, followed by a stop at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust to see rescued baby elephants. The afternoon is free for relaxation, shopping, or optional excursions before your safari journey.

From Nairobi, you fly into the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, one of Africa’s premier safari destinations. Upon arrival, you are transferred to your lodge and begin your adventure with an afternoon game drive across the vast savannah.
Day five is dedicated to full-day safari experiences, with early morning and afternoon game drives offering opportunities to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and vast herds of wildlife. For a truly memorable experience, an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise can be arranged.
On day six, enjoy a cultural visit to a local Maasai village, where you will learn about traditional customs and daily life. Later, you fly back to Nairobi in preparation for your coastal escape.

Day seven is dedicated to settling into your beachfront resort and enjoying the white sandy beaches along the Indian Ocean. The tranquil setting provides a perfect contrast to the safari adventure.
On day eight, explore marine activities such as snorkeling, diving, or a traditional dhow sunset cruise. The coastal cuisine, rich in fresh seafood and Swahili flavors, enhances your experience.
Day nine is at leisure—ideal for spa treatments, swimming, or simply relaxing by the beach. On day ten, you may explore the historic streets of Mombasa Old Town or visit Haller Park for a light mix of wildlife and conservation.

For those seeking an extended tropical finale, continue to Zanzibar. You will fly from the Kenyan coast or Nairobi to this idyllic island known for its white sand beaches and turquoise waters.
Your stay includes exploring Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site rich in culture and history, as well as visiting spice farms to experience the island’s famed spice trade.
Relax on the northern beaches such as Nungwi or Kendwa, known for their calm waters and spectacular sunsets. This extension provides a perfect, tranquil ending to your Kenyan safari and beach adventure.
