Welcome to Burkina Faso, the cultural heart of West Africa. Upon arrival at Ouagadougou International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel for check-in. After settling in, receive a briefing about your upcoming adventure and the FESPACO Festival program.
Later in the day, attend the spectacular Opening Ceremony of FESPACO 2027, Africa’s largest and most prestigious film festival. Join filmmakers, actors, producers, journalists, and cinema enthusiasts from across the continent as they celebrate African storytelling through music, dance, cultural performances, and the official festival launch.
In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner featuring authentic Burkinabè cuisine.

Following breakfast, discover the rich history and culture of Burkina Faso’s capital on a guided city tour. Visit the National Museum of Burkina Faso to learn about the country’s diverse ethnic communities, traditional customs, and artistic heritage.
Continue to the Monument of National Heroes, admire the impressive Grand Mosque, and view the historic Moro-Naba Palace, home of the traditional Mossi Kingdom. Your tour concludes at the Artisan Village, where talented craftsmen produce bronze sculptures, textiles, wood carvings, leather goods, and colorful handicrafts.
Return to the festival grounds during the afternoon for more screenings, exhibitions, or cultural performances.

Today, travel northeast to the remarkable Laongo Open-Air Sculpture Park, one of Africa’s most unique outdoor art galleries. International sculptors have transformed massive granite boulders into extraordinary works of contemporary African art set within a natural landscape.
Continue to the nearby town of Ziniaré, where you will visit local artisan workshops and the famous crocodile sanctuary. Learn about local traditions before returning to Ouagadougou in the late afternoon.

Depart early this morning for Nazinga Game Ranch, Burkina Faso’s premier wildlife reserve.
