The only way to truly explore the Okavango Delta and its incredible landscape is to get out onto its waterways by boat. We offer guided mobile boating safaris from the top to the bottom of the Okavango Delta while staying on uninhabited islands along the way. Chief’s Island is particularly famous for its predators. Its far-reaching floodplains and diverse habitats attract high concentrations of prime prey species.

We will pick you from any lodge around Maun early in the morning for a full day boat ride at Okavango Delta. We will make our way to the boating station where you will meet your guide and board the speedboat. You will watch the birds and some of the breathing Botswana scenery. The adventure will be interrupted by pauses for viewing pleasure and leg stretching. You will reach the turning point near the chiefs’ island at around midday. You will enjoy a delicious lunch on one of the many islands in the Delta. After lunch, you may rest at the beautiful shady setting to soak the peaceful scenery of the delta before we make our way back to the boating station. Depending on water levels, you may use a different route reaching the boat station for a transfer back to your hotel.
