Centre Artisanal de la Ville
Pick up at the port upon arrival at the port. Begin the trip with a drive to Mosque Du Plateau, one of the largest Muslim religious sites in the country. It was built in 1996 to create a worship place for the Plateau’s population. The building boasts richly decorated faded and tall minarets open to visitors. Traditionally only men can get into the mosque but now women are allowed to the mosque but have to cover their head and wear decent

St Paul’s Cathedral is a unique monument that has served as a mother church for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Abidjan. In 1985 that is when the building was completed, and since then, it has been a worshipping house and an attraction in Abidjan city.

Explore the Centre Artisanal de la Ville is an artisan village with workshops selling various types of handicrafts. Stroll around to see a variety of Korhogo cloth paintings, batiks, Ioin clothes, jewelry, and folk art. You will also have a chance to enter the countless stands, huts, galleries, and souvenir shops, and shop some if you have money. See the craftspeople on their duties and the local art pieces alongside those coming from Ghana, Mali, Nigeria, and African countries. You will buy packed lunch to eat in the car as we drive to the Banco NP.

After lunch drive for 45 mins escape from the capital’s urban bustle and delve into a threatened world of natural rainforest at Banco National Park. The national park–a center for research, education, and leisure–has survived deforestation and urban development thanks to the staff’s conservation efforts and regular security patrols in 4×4 vehicles. Go on a safe, adventurous hike or a guided tour through the ancient mahogany woods, where you can stumble upon exotic birds, primates, and other indigenous wildlife. Bring extra water with you on your hikes, since it can get hot and humid. You will later drive for around 1.5 hour to get back to the port 4pm.
