Highlights
Walking in the footsteps of Jesus: A walk to the Garden of Gethsemane, stopping shortly at Dominus Flevit, the place where Jesus stopped and wept over Jerusalem. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane with its ancient olive trees, and the Church of All Nations, displaying the stone of the Agony of Christ. Falafel and Hummus lunch in the Old City after lunch you will have free time for shopping in the Old City.
From there, entering the old city through the Lions Gate, visit the Monastery of St. Anne and the Pools of Bethesda. A walk along the Via Dolorosa to the Christian Quarter and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the place of Jesus’ crucifixion and burial. See the tomb of Joseph of Arimathea, the traditional site of Golgotha, and the Chapel of St. Helena.
Visit Mt. Zion, The traditional burial place of King David that sits right underneath the Room of the Last Supper, a room that also served as a mosque.
Conclude the tour by visiting the Western Wall. The site is the traditional site where Jews from all around the world come to remember the destroyed temple and has become synonyms with Jewish tradition itself. You will be dropped back to the port for your onward sailing
