Itinerary

Stop Atthe Spouting Horn

You will be picked up at 9.30 pm by the guide. Embark on the called “The Grand Canyon of the Pacific” by Mark Twain, this fascinating Waimea Canyon tour in Kauai offers spectacular views that rival it’s mainland cousin yet with an island personality all its own. The first stop will be made during the excursion to see the Spouting Horn. The Poipu surf channels into a natural lava tube and releases a huge spout of water during large swells. Listen for the hiss and roar; local legend tells of a great lizard that long ago got stuck in the tube.
The actual canyon is bursting with ever-changing color, yellow ginger, and eucalyptus trees. Kauai’s own mokihana berries grow up to 3,500-foot elevation. We take you up to 3,400 feet to the canyon overlook and provide a visual history commentary along the way. A short walk from the transportation takes you to the overlook.

Stop AtWaimea

Waimea, located on the western end of Kauai, offers a rich history and plenty of adventure. The town’s claim to fame: it marks the spot where Captain Cook first set foot on Hawaiian soil in 1778. We’ll continue to a local restaurant for lunch

Stop At:Sittella Wines

Enjoy a gourmet vineyard platter lunch and a glass of wine at the very popular Sittella Wines or the rustic charms of Edgecombe Wines. Both venues offer an exceptional range of their own wines, a gallery with local produce and crafts to browse through.

Stop at: Old Koloa Town

On the return drive, you will pass through Old Koloa Town. Established in 1834 and situated in the heart of Hawaii’s first sugar cane plantation, quaint old buildings have been carefully renovated and restored and are now home to unique shops and restaurants. As you drive by, your guide will share fascinating stories about life in the plantation era. You will be dropped back at the port at 5.15pm for your onward cruise.
