Itinerary
Day 1Head to whale watching town of Hermanus
We depart from Cape Town, traveling along the scenic Whale Route towards the renowned whale watching town of Hermanus. Our first stop is at Stoney Point, where we can observe a genuine colony of penguins. During the whale watching season, we hope to catch more than a mere glimpse of these remarkable creatures from various observation points. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to meet the well-known whale caller of Walker Bay. Our journey proceeds to the northeast, towards one of the Cape’s most extensive wine and farm areas. Afterward, you can relax on the observation deck with a bottle of wine while admiring the town of Montagu and the mountains. You can also choose to have a traditional South African Braai while we prepare and light the fire. This is an excellent location that you will certainly enjoy!

Day 2The Robertson Wine Valley
The Robertson Wine Valley is responsible for nearly 20% of South Africa’s total wine production and is home to many award-winning wineries. After enjoying a continental breakfast, we embark on a full-day wine tasting tour. Our tour includes a comprehensive overview of the entire winemaking process, from grape to wine. We offer in-cellar walks and even explain the art of wine blending, allowing you to create your own personalized bottled blend. Additionally, we provide an optional river cruise and picnic lunch upon request. To stay in the wine spirit, we serve fondue Bourguignonne, an oil fondue where diners cook their food in hot oil. According to legend, vineyard workers in the Burgundy region would come in for meals at different times, making it challenging to have a hot meal ready for everyone.

Day 3A journey through Cape Fruit Region.
Following a restful night in the Klein Karoo, we commence our journey before breakfast, passing through the Cape fruit region and the picturesque mountain passes that run along the Langeberg Mountains. However, our journey doesn’t end there. Upon reaching our first destination of the day, we indulge in a plentiful buffet breakfast and then embark on an open vehicle safari to seek out the Big Five. Before returning to Cape Town, we savor a traditional South African lunch.
