Visit the historical and cultural highlights of this magnificent area in Fiji on this exciting tour from Lautoka. Travel inland by air-conditioned vehicle to the beautiful Garden of the Sleeping Giant located in the Sabeto Valley which lies north of Nadi. This tranquil garden contains more than 2,000 species of Asian orchids belonging to the late American actor Raymond Burr. Meander along canopy covered paths, note the well-manicured lawns and cross over lily ponds.
From there you will head to the seaside village of Viseisei, the oldest settlement in Fiji and home to its Chief. Listen as your guide shares stories of its significant past and observe how the residents live.
You will then continue to Nadi, an area well known for its tourism and sugar cane production. Take a photo of the colorful Sri Siva Subramaniya Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the Southern hemisphere. There ia an option of visiting the mud pool if you are up for it.
