Upon arriving at Maputo port, you will meet up with our driver and guide at 8: 45am.Our guide will be holding a company’s flyer with a logo for the easy identification. Hop on a private vehicle and drive from around 7 hours from Maputo to Nottens Bush Camp in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. You will pass through the immigration border where you are required to permit your entrance on arrival, you are checked into your rooms before making your way to enjoy lunch. After lunch, there is some time to relax before departing on an afternoon/sunset safari drive. On game drives, you can get a lot closer to the big game. All game drives are conducted in open 4 x 4 Land Rovers. No roof allows you 360-degree views, perfect for wonderful photographic and video opportunities. On the afternoon drive, you will stop for sundowners. After sundowners you’ll get to experience a night drive. During the night drives, your tracker uses a powerful spotlight to search for nocturnal animals. You can see a wide variety of animals not normally seen during the day. You return to the lodge to enjoy a well-prepared dinner which depending upon the weather will be under the stars in the boma area.

An early start to the day will see you embark on a morning safari drive, where you can encounter Africa’s Big Five; namely; lion, leopard, rhino, buffalo, and elephant, as well as an abundance of other wildlife and birds as we explore the game-rich Sabi Sand Reserve. Tea & coffee will be served during the morning drive. After the morning safari drive, you return to the lodge for breakfast. For the more energetic, each day after breakfast there is the option of a morning bush walk. The walk is an opportunity to experience the bushveld at close quarters. All walking safaris are led by qualified rangers. The chance to walk
amongst wildlife allows you to fully immerse yourself in African smells and sounds. For those not so energetic relax by the pool or in the main lodge area before lunch and your afternoon/sunset safari drive.

Today after your breakfast you will have free time at the lodge to pack. At around 0930hr you will check out from the lodge and meet the driver at the reception. You will dive into an air-conditioned van drive for about 2hrs to Skukuza Aiport to catch a flight to Cape Town at 1310hr. Upon arrival at 1540 in you will meet your guide at the airport to transfer you to back the port terminal to join your cruise at 5pm
