1 Hour Before Departure Time
The full -day Santo Domingo experience departs from Bávaro and Bayahibe through the new Autovía del Este to Santo Domingo. Our first stop will be at the lake of Los Tres Ojos. Then proceed to the Colón Lighthouse. The guide will tell you more of its history, be ready with a camera to take photos around you.
Walkthrough coffee-lined Plaza de España and Colonial Zone. See one of the many city museums displaying medieval and Renaissance art, the Alcázar de Colón palace.
While at the colonial Zone, you will have a buffet lunch in a local restaurant. After the short lunch break, proceed to the first cathedral of Americans. Take a walk on the first street, Calle de Las Damas, and other colonial monuments from the 15th and 16th centuries.
Explore residential areas, the presidential palace, and the modern city. Enjoy a free hour to explore some old buildings found in El Conde or go shopping.
