Stop AtSao Tome City Center
Upon arrival, you will meet the guide at 8:30 am, Walk in the narrow streets of São Tomé, visit the downtown market, with exotic fishes and fruits, and get a feeling of life as a Santomean. Discover the colorful colonial architecture left by the Portuguese, the Cathedral with the traditional “azulejos” the Presidential Palace, and visit the National Museum before having lunch at a local restaurant, serving grilled fish and octopus, with a salad of sea snails. Check out Marginal avenue, and do not forget to taste the exotic ice cream: soursop, pineapple, cinnamon, peanut…. it is impossible to resist! If you have time, you may also drive up to the fishermen’s village of Pantufo, with its colorful church and boats aligned on the beach. You will be dropped back at the port at 4:15pm
