Arrival in Arusha meet and greet and you’ll be transferred to Arusha for your overnight Stay. Overnight at Kahawa House or any similar accommodation.
Meal plan : Dinner
You’ll depart from Arusha after breakfast for the approximately two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, your eyes will be opened to all the colors and character of Tanzania: perhaps some Maasai herdsmen driving their focks of goats to new pastures. You’ll get to know your driver- guide, amazed at his depth of knowledge as he efortlessly answers all your questions. Once you’ve entered Tarangire, you’ll begin your game drive across a rich vista of endless golden savannah that surrounds the Tarangire River. Tarangire is huge. As you stand at the park gate and look south, it stretches as far as the eye can see. Known as the ‘Elephant Playground,’ this spectacular park contains largest population of these mighty mammals.
The park is also famous for its noble baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia woodland. It can be dusty – wear a scarf over your mouth – but this is a minor inconvenience for sighting wildlife in such abundance. After an extensive game drive, you will head to your accommodation for some relaxation, maybe a drink, dinner and your all-important night’s rest.Overnight at Maramboi Tented Camp
Accommodation: Maramboi Tented Camp
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner
You will enjoy breakfast before you leave Maramboi Tented Lodge to continue your journey to Lake Manyara, with a travel time of around 2 hours. Stretched along the Rift Valley Escarpment, and characterized by its shimmering lake, Manyara is rich in vegetation and the wildlife that thrives here. Enjoy the tranquility as majestic pink famingos wade elegantly, picking out a meal of algae from the shallow, alkaline waters. Bird-lovers are in for a treat as over 400 species have been recorded here – everything from bee-eaters to hornbills and everything in-between. And if you visit between February and June, watch out for yellow-billed stork and pink-backed pelicans, two more avian highlights. On land, Manyara’s terrain is compact, yet boasts difering environments such as diverse forests fed by waters seeping from the nearby escarpment. Monkeys are abundant, but look out too for the lions, girafe, warthog and grumpy Cape bufalo who all proudly call this park their home. Hold your nose when you reach the hippo pool, because these big semi-aquatic mammals smell! After an extensive game drive, and, of course, lunch – you will continue onwards to Karatu in the Ngorongoro highlands, where you will spend the night at the Ngorongoro Farm House.
Accommodation: Ngorongoro Farm House
Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Diner
After breakfast, we departed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The area is regarded as the Man and Biosphere by UNESCO as the only place on earth where wildlife and human community co-exist and live in harmony.
The Crater is a world heritage site and the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is commonly referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. The 2,000 feet high walls of the approximately 10-mile-wide crater create a natural Amphitheater for the densest populations of large animals anywhere in the world. With a resident population of over 25,000 mammals, you are sure to be overwhelmed by the abundance of wildlife that exists within the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is a microcosm of the African safari experience and in one day it is possible to see a staggering array of wildlife including all the big carnivores. With abundant and easily accessible wildlife the Ngorongoro Crater is truly awe inspiring with a strikingly majestic and sublime landscape. In the late Afternoon you will proceed to the Southern Plains of the Mighty Serengeti National Park for the Overnight at to one of the hotspot called Ndutu Area (at Lake Masek Tented Camp)
