Visit the old medina of Tunis (Unesco world heritage site)
– Visit the Bardo Museum (2 nds most crucial museum after the one of Cairo regarding its
Romain mosaic collection)
– Visit the archeological site of Carthage and discover the Roman ruins (Byrsa hill – Punic
sanctuary – Antonine baths – Punic harbor…etc.)
– Have free time to stroll in the alley of Sidi Bou said (The blue and white village overviewing
the bay of Tunis)

Departure to Kairouan, the holy city of Tunisia and visit of
– The great mosque (Okba Ibn Nafaa Mosque)
– The old medina is inscribed in the Unesco world heritage sites.

– Mausoleum of the barber (the barber of the prophet).

– After the meal, free time to walk in the old medina and visit BIR BAROUTA (a holy well
according to the legend related to Zemzem in Mecca) Dinner and overnight at the hotel

After breakfast, head to the archeological site of Sofetula and take the time to visit.
– Continue to Tozeur, the city of oases and palm groves.
– Free lunch in Gafsa.
– Arrival in Tozeur and visit of the old medina. Walk in its streets for around 1H with your guide
to discovering its history and architecture.
– Possibility of carriage ride in the palm grove of Tozeur (not included and paid on-site).
– At the end of the day, visit the museum of Dar Chraiet, which summarizes the traditions of
Tozeur in particular and the region of Djerid in general

After breakfast, departure to Chebika, the destination of many filmmakers. Hike for around
40 minutes with an English speaking local guide to visit the ancient village and the source of
water that springs from the side of the mountain.
– Continuation to Mides to admire its Canyons
– Head to Tamerza to admire its waterfall.
– Lunch included in a typical restaurant.
– After the meal, we will go to the largest and most known Star Wars site in Tunisia (Mos Espa
village). To get there, fasten the belts, we will cross the famous salt lake of Chott El Gharsa,
the big sand dunes and rocky obstacles.
– By the end of the day, witness an amazing Sunset in front of the Star Wars sets.
– Stop by the famous basket of Nefta to enjoy a good tea and admire the landscape

Accommodation: 4* hotel in Tozeur

After breakfast, head to Ksar Ghilane, crossing the salt lake of Chott Djerid (The largest salt lake in
the North of Africa with more than 5000 square km), we will also go through a petrified sand
the site, and you will discover a method of cooling hot water in southern Tunisia used to irrigate
the palm grove.
– In Douz, the desert gate, enjoy free time to visit the souk and the possibility of a quad ride or
dromedary in the dunes (extra and not included).
– Free lunch, then, continue to Ksar Ghilane.
– Arrive at the oasis where the other color of the sand embraces the greenery of the palm
trees.
– In the center of the oasis, there is a hot spring, or you can swim.
– Before sunset, we will be in front of the camp with a unique landscape where you will admire
the sun hiding shyly at the horizon, and the sand extends as far as the eye can see.
– Settle in your tent, and around 19h, enjoy a demonstration of sand bread making (bread
prepared under the embers).
– Dinner and free time to admire the stars.
– Night under the tent.

Accommodation: Zmela Camp or similar

After breakfast, departure to Matmata, the troglodyte village. Stop at the Berber village of
Tamazret to take pictures and enjoy a good rosemary tea.
– Continuation to visit a house dug under the ground. Our host will welcome us with a good
tea served with olive oil and honey.
– Continuation to El Jem to visit its marvelous Roman Amphitheater (considered the second
most important after that of Rome) and visit its museum
– Lunch on the way.
– After visiting these monuments, departure to Sousse diner and overnight
