The brilliantly colored sands and stark rock formations of Jordan’s Wadi Rum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, make this desert wilderness a must-visit for most travelers to Jordan. Signature sights, typically visited by 4WD, include the Burdah Rock Bridge, a natural arch; the Khazali Siq, a narrow canyon; and the scarlet Al Hasany Dunes.

We’ll pick you up at the port in Aqaba at 8.30 am and en route to Wadi Rum in the Jordanian Desert for a 2-hour drive through a landscape described by T. E. Lawrence as “vast, echoing and God-like.” Discover why the locals call it the “Valley of the Moon.” Venture through breathtaking scenery littered with history, and discover a timeless place that has been left virtually untouched by humanity and its destructive forces. Marvel at how the weather and winds have carved a maze of monolithic rockscapes rising up from the desert floor to heights of up to 5,740 feet (1,750 meters). A challenge for serious mountaineers, the mountains also offer hikers complete tranquility in the boundless empty spaces.
We will stop for Arabian cuisine lunch served at the wadi rum village for about one hour.
Explore the canyons and water holes to discover 4,000-year-old rock drawings and other treasures. To those interested in camel rides, they can enjoy the rides. Later we will drive back to Aqaba and drop you off at the port at 15.30pm
