Embark on full day trip to discover the unmissable areas of the city of Agadir on a guided tour, where you will take breathtaking views at the top of the Kasbah, and then try your bargaining skills at a Souk El Hed (locals market), all as you learn about the history of this city.
Upon pick up at the port at 8:30 am we’ll drive up the hill to Agadir Ou-fellah (Agadir hilltop), the city’s 16th-century Saadian Kasbah (Fortress that was built in 1572 ), which offers a complete panoramic view of the whole city and the fishing port. See the inscription “Fear God and honor the King” right above the entrance of the Kasbah and remember to snap a memorable photo.

The grassy area below the kasbah covers the remains of old Agadir town and constitutes a mass grave for all those who died in the 1960 earthquake.

Agadir Medina (La Médina d’Agadir) is a fascinating reconstruction of a typical Moroccan Berber village. It was built using traditional building techniques and local materials. Today, visitors can stroll the alleys and shop in the many small boutiques, all while taking in the colours, aromas and bustle of the market. Here you will stop at the restaurant for lunch break.

Agadir Argan Oil House will also be a stop on our tour, it is where you will get information about a very rare oil, see how the Berber women produce what is known in Europe as a Golden Liquid. Learn how they gather and dry the nuts, roast and grind the kernels and finally extract the pure oil. This is a truly a 100% Moroccan experience that should not be missed.
