Spend the afternoon exploring museums and learning about the country’s fascinating history and multicultural heritage. End the day watching a beautiful sunset over the Gulf of Guinea.

Today journey into the highlands of Bioko Island to explore Pico Basile National Park.

Travel through lush tropical forests rich with endemic plants, colourful birds, and monkeys. Enjoy scenic hiking trails offering breathtaking panoramic views of the island and surrounding Atlantic Ocean. Keep an eye out for rare primates and unique wildlife found only on Bioko Island.

Return to Malabo in the late afternoon for leisure.

After breakfast, head south across Bioko Island.

Visit the famous Arena Blanca Beach, known for its striking white volcanic sand and crystal-clear waters. Depending on the season, you may witness sea turtles nesting along protected beaches.

Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to Malabo.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Bata on mainland Equatorial Guinea.

Upon arrival, explore the country’s largest city. Visit lively markets, coastal boulevards, cultural centres, and beautiful beaches. Learn about Fang traditions and local customs while interacting with friendly residents.

Enjoy a seafood dinner overlooking the Atlantic coast.

Depart early for one of Central Africa’s greatest biodiversity hotspots—Monte Alén National Park.

Spend the day exploring pristine rainforest filled with elephants, forest buffalo, chimpanzees, gorillas (rarely seen), colourful butterflies, and hundreds of bird species. Enjoy guided forest walks with experienced local naturalists while learning about medicinal plants and rainforest conservation.

Return to Bata in the evening.
