Day 1Arrival in Casablanca, Morocco

Arrive in Casablanca where your guide welcomes you to North Africa. Transfer to your luxury hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening before a traditional Moroccan welcome dinner.

Day 2Casablanca City Tour

Explore the city landmarks if the time allows Hassan 2 Mosque visit, the Courniche of Casablanca. Have dinner at the local restaurant and drive back to the hotel for the overnight.

Day 3Casablanca to Marrakech

Depart Casablanca following pick-up at the port at 07:45 am and relax on the 3-hour drive to Marrakech. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a 3.5-hour walking tour around the medina. See the stalls of the old, fortified city before going to the Palais de Bahia to discover its fantastic courtyards and mosaic walls built for Bou Ahmed. Later you will check in to the hotel: dinner will be at a local restaurant

Day 4Marrakech Hot Air Balloon

Just a short drive from the center of bustling Marrakech, your private hot-air balloon will fly over beautiful countryside, showing you the fascinating contrast between Morocco’s urban and rural areas. Starting your day early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech and drive 45 minutes out of the city to our balloon launch site. Here you will receive a full pre-flight safety briefing and have a chance to watch the launch team prepare the balloon for departure. Once in the air, you will fly between 9 and 15 miles (15-25 km), depending on the wind speed, taking you over a local village and the picturesque surrounding areas. On board, the balloon and during our relaxing flight, enjoy fruit juice along with a choice of traditional Moroccan pastries. The flight will last one hour. Later drive back to the hotel for overnight and dinner.

Day 5Day trip to Ourika Valley / Atlas mountains

Experience the beauty of the Ourika Valley up-close on this full-day scenic tour from Marrakesh, and escape the hustle and bustle of the city for the day. The Ourika Valley is the closest day trip from Marrakesh, but it’s not just its convenience that makes it special. Drive towards the Atlas Mountains, taking in the beautiful landscape of green meadows and authentic 16th and 17th-century Berber villages. If you take your tour on a Monday, you can even stop at a roadside souk. See fruit orchards, vegetable terraces, and villages clinging to the side of hills. Marvel at the labor undertaken by the Berbers who hoisted materials to construct small houses up mountainsides, and work the terraces in a hostile environment. Continue along the valley of palm trees, following the Ourika River. Fruit trees, tiny hamlets, riverside restaurants, and the summer homes of the wealthy will keep you occupied. Go to Setti Fatma to feel the refreshing waters. Feel the spray on your face as you cool down from the African heat, along with the locals of Marrakech who have made it their favorite weekend retreat.

Day 6 Day trip to Essaouira

After your breakfast, depart Marrakech in the morning and head to beautiful Essaouira on the Atlantic Coast. Once you arrive at the port city, formerly known as Mogador, you will have time to enjoy the charming sights of Essaouira. Take pictures of its ocher-colored walls, the beautiful and vibrant Moulay El Hassan square, the markets are also known as souks, as well as the little streets of the city’s old Medina. Then, enjoy a lunch of fresh fish in a local restaurant. During your trip, you’ll also visit an association of Berber women producing argan oil, see the local markets, and wow at the gems in the jeweler’s quarter. Before the sunset driver back to Marrakech for dinner and overnight.

Day 7 Marrakech to Casablanca

You will have the morning to yourself, in the midafternoon you will drive back to Casablanca. Upon arrival, you will check into your hotel for the overnight and dinner.

Day 8 Fly to Algiers, Algeria

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Algiers. Visit the Martyrs’ Memorial and French colonial district before enjoying traditional Algerian cuisine.

Day 9 UNESCO Casbah & Ottoman Heritage

Spend the day exploring the historic Casbah of Algiers (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Visit Ottoman palaces, mosques like Ketchaoua Mosque, and climb narrow alleys for panoramic views. Visit the Bardo Museum and the Great Mosque of Algiers. Enjoy mint tea in a local café and shop for silver jewelry or ceramics.

Day 10 Roman Ruins of Tipasa & Cleopatra’s Tomb

Drive west to the coastal Roman city of Tipasa (1.5 hrs). Explore the theater, basilicas, necropolis, and seaside baths. After lunch, stop at the Royal Mausoleum of Mauretania, burial place of Cleopatra Selene. Return to Algiers in the evening.

Day 11 Algiers – Djemila – Setif

Day 13 Constantine to Ghardaïa – Gateway to the Sahara

Morning flight or drive south to Ghardaïa, part of the M’zab Valley (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Begin your visit with a walking tour of Mélika or Beni Isguen, two of the five Mozabite cities, known for their unique architecture, market traditions, and Ibadite customs.

Day 17 Testour Dougga and Bulla regia

Beguin your day with a Visit to the Anladousian city of Testour, Continue to the Archeologic sites of Dougga. Later to the Archeologic site and museum of Bulla Regia. Head to Kairouan and overnight

Day 18 Kairouan the Holy city

Today you will head to Kairouan. Kairouan was established in 670 AD and flourished under the Aghlabid Dynasty. Visit the Great Mosque of Kairouan,the Aglabits Bassins, and Sidi Sahbi Mausoleum. Spend some time exploring the Kairouan Medina and enjoy a typical Kairouan lunch before returning back to your hotel of accommodation later. Visit the great mosque of Kairouan.
