Arrive at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport in Livingstone, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Settle into your accommodation and enjoy time to relax after your journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may take a gentle walk around the town or enjoy the atmosphere along the Zambezi River. In the evening, relax at the lodge and prepare for your Zambian adventure.

After breakfast, set out to explore Victoria Falls, one of Africa’s most spectacular natural landmarks. After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight toward Mfuwe, the gateway to South Luangwa National Park. On arrival, continue to your safari lodge and settle into the surroundings of one of Zambia’s most celebrated wildlife areas. Later in the afternoon, embark on your first game drive, searching for elephants, hippos, giraffes, buffalo and the diverse birdlife that inhabits the Luangwa Valley.

Spend a full day exploring South Luangwa National Park on safari. The park is renowned for its concentration of wildlife around the Luangwa River and its rich variety of habitats. Morning and afternoon game drives provide opportunities to observe elephants, buffalo, hippos, antelope and predators, while your experienced guide explains the ecosystem and behaviour of the animals. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner beneath the atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Begin the day with an optional guided walking safari, an opportunity to experience the African bush at a slower and more intimate pace. Accompanied by a qualified guide, you learn to recognize animal tracks, plants, birds and other signs of wildlife. After lunch and some time to relax, head out for an afternoon game drive as the changing light creates excellent conditions for photography and wildlife viewing.

After breakfast, depart South Luangwa and continue your journey toward the Lower Zambezi region. Depending on the selected logistics and seasonal flight schedules, this section may involve a combination of scheduled or charter flights and road transfers. Arrive at your riverside lodge and enjoy the peaceful setting overlooking the Zambezi River. Spend the afternoon relaxing or taking part in a gentle riverside activity.

Spend the day discovering the Lower Zambezi through a combination of wildlife and river experiences. A morning safari provides opportunities to see elephants, buffalo, hippos, antelope and other wildlife along the floodplains, while a canoe or boat excursion offers a different perspective of the Zambezi ecosystem. In the late afternoon, enjoy a scenic sunset cruise as the river and surrounding wilderness take on the warm colours of the African evening.

Enjoy breakfast overlooking the Zambezi before your final transfer to the airport for your onward journey. Depending on your departure schedule, there may be time for a final nature walk or relaxed morning at the lodge.
