Upon pick up at the port of Apia, our first stop is at the famous Robert Louis Stevenson Museum for a tour of this majestic site steeped in history
We then pass by the Baha’i Faith Temple which is an optional photo stop. The beautiful scenic drive then continues through lush mountains and rainforest with a stop at the Papapapaitai Falls – weather permitting
Our destination for lunch is Tafatafa Beach – a lovely white sand beach located on the Southern Coast. Here you can enjoy a swim in the sparkling blue waters, sunbathe on the white sands, take a stroll on the beach or just relax in the coolness of a Samoan fale.
After lunch we continue on with a stop at the Sopo’aga Falls & Mini Botanical Garden where you will see a variety of Samoan medicinal plants used for different ailments. There will also be a Coconut Demonstration which informs you about the Pacifics “tree of life” and its many uses. You will sample fresh coconuts and see the grating of the coconut to be made into fresh cream.
Continuing on we pass plantations and drive through traditional Samoan villages as we head along the Northeast Coast of Upolu.
